2000 High Pressure Boiler Gaskets
A cost-effective sealing
alternative to spiral wound gaskets in most types of higher pressure
industrial vessels and tanks with inspection openings. Manufactured from
multiple layers of graphite foil and reinforced with 316 stainless steel
foil for added stability, Series 2000 gaskets offer exceptional thermal
stability, chemical inertness, light weight and compressibility.
Service: temps to 1200 F (650 C) in steam; to 850 F (454 C) in atmosphere; pressure (typical): 250 - 2000 psi (17-138 bar)
DIE-CUT EPDM BOILER GASKETS
Manufactured from EPDM, a special rubber formulation with excellent resistance to heat, chemicals and ageing. Performs well in most steam and water sealing applications where temps and pressures do not exceed 375 and 150 PSI respectively. Extreme resiliency enables AGIS gaskets to fill uneven spots on flange surfaces for superior seals.
FOLDED WIRE-INSERTED FIBERGLASS BOILER GASKETS
Manufactured from a unique blend of carded wire-inserted fiberglass and proprietary fibers, coated with heat-resistant rubber compound. Rated at temps to 380 . F and pressures to 180 PSI. Brass wire inserted throughout fabric ensures greater heat dispersion. No taped joints to impede performance. Available in manhole or handhole; round, oval and obround shapes.
METAL SPIRAL-WOUND BOILER GASKETS
Manufactured of layers of preformed 304SS metal strip (for mechanical resistance) and intermittent layers of micarb sealing paper (for resiliency). Material is wound on forms to specific shape and size. Ends are then welded. Rated to 999 PSI and temps to 1000 (1999 PSI available) For extreme temperatures, a graphic filler can be used. Standard shapes available: oval, obround, pear, diamond, round, square. Suitable for boilers where pressures exceed non-metallic gasket capabilities
Made of 100% virgin, expanded PTFE, AGIS PTFE joint sealant is a soft,
compressible form-in-place gasket material that conforms to almost any
sealing surface-- even rough, scratched, and damaged surfaces. Suitable
for boiler & pressure vessel manholes & handholes. Upon
compression, it forms a thin, hard seal capable of withstanding a wide range
of pressures, temperatures and chemical attacks. FDA compliant. East
installation, easy removal. Service conditions: temperatures: -450°F
to 600°
