AGIS, LLC is a manufacturer and distributor of heat-resistant woven ceramic fiber cloth and a wide range of products for high-temperature industrial and marine applications.
AGIS ceramic fiber cloth is a superior insulating cloth capable of withstanding continuous temperatures of 2300 F. Excellent resistance to thermal shock, corrosive attack, breakdown due to mechanical vibration and stress. Contains approximately 20% organic fiber.
Alternative inserts: Inconel wire is inserted for greater tensile strength; suitable for temps to 2300 F. A glass filament may be inserted for use as a dielectric, suitable for temps to 1200 F.
Options: For personnel protection and fire retardation, heat treated cloth is recommended. Heat treatment removes the organic fibers, but reduces the thickness and strength of the tape slightly.
