INDUSTRIAL CERAMIC FIBER PRODUCTS Industrial Ceramic Fiber Insulating Board
Industrial Ceramic Fiber Papers
440 INDUSTRIAL CERAMIC FIBER PAPER is a high strength composite paper manufactured from ceramic fiber, inert fillers and reinforcing fiberglass. In the manufacturing process, the fiberglass is added to confer additional strength at temperatures between 450°F and 1300°F An optional fire retardant smoke suppressant can be added to reduce the effects of the organic burnout. 440 ceramic fiber paper has a working temperature up to 1300°F.. Sizes: Thickness: 1/16" and 1/8" Available in full rolls only in standard widths of 24" and 48", Applications: Higher
density and binders give AGIS 440 ceramic fiber paper performance
properties ideal for many refractory-type applications, including:
Properties and characteristics: Continuous use limit: up to 2300°F; typical chemical analysis: LOI (including binder)- 8-10% AL2O3-47.0%, SiO2, 52.62%; Na2O3- 0.18%; Fe2O3, 0.03%; Others-0.17%; color: white Sizes:
Thickness: 1/32" and 1/4". Available in full rolls only in
standard widths of 24" and
48". Cut pieces are available; cutting charge applies. Applications: High
purity fiber construction gives AGIS 1530 industrial ceramic fiber paper extraordinary
tensile strength and performance properties ideal for many refractory-type
applications, including:
Industrial Ceramic Fiber Blankets
AGIS industrial ceramic fiber insulation blankets are high strength, needled blankets spun from extra long ceramic fibers. The fibers are cross-locked through a unique process, which results in a blanket with excellent handling strength but which is nevertheless lightweight and flexible. Advantages: Unexcelled handling strength , light weight and flexibility; texture uniformity and plane surface; excellent resistance to heat and chemical attack; thermal shock stability and low thermal conductivity. They have low density, good resiliency and excellent sound absorbing and filtering property. Sizes:

Other thicknesses available upon request. Applications: High temperature kiln and
furnace insulation, flexible pipe insulation, expansion joint material,
incineration equipment, and stack linings.
INDUSTRIAL
Thermal
insulating blankets
Industrial Kevlar® (Syntherm) blankets are a blend of Kevlar yarns and fiberglass fibers, a combination resulting in excellent strength and abrasion resistance. Suitable for applications up to 650°F. Industrial Fiberglass Fabric blankets are tightly woven fiberglass cloth, which has been heat treated to minimize unraveling. Suitable for applications up to 1000°F. Industrial Aluminized Fiberglass Fabric blankets are tightly woven fiberglass cloth, which has been heat treated and then laminated with foil on one side for thermal reflection. Suitable for applications on up to 1000°F. This material is in compliance with MIL-C-20079 Type 1 Class 10. Applications: As industrial fire blankets, to block the flame path and retard heat flow. As industrial welding blankets, to provide protection from sparks, spatter and slag generated by welding or metal cutting applications. For other industrial thermal blanket applications, including insulation on all types of steam process equipment, such as boiler heads and high pressure hot water valves. Specifications: Syntherm, 22 oz/sq. yd; fiberglass, 26 and 36 oz/sq. yd; aluminized fiberglass, 19 oz/sq. yd. INDUSTRIAL
PTFE SHEETS VIRGIN
GRADE. AGIS' industrial virgin grade PTFE sheets are manufactured from pure granular
virgin grade PTFE. It is impervious to virtually all corrosives. Its
dielectric properties are extraordinarily high and it has an extremely low
coefficient of friction. Meets MIL-P-22241B specs. FDA approved, making it
the preferred choice in the food service industry. MECHANICAL
GRADE. AGIS' industrial mechanical grade PTFE sheets are manufactured from reprocessed
granular PTFE. It has the same properties as virgin grade except it is not
FDA approved and does not meet MIL-P-22241B specs Service
conditions: -350°F to 500°F Applications: AGIS' industrial PTFE sheet material is ideal for use in the
chemical processing, petrochemical, food service and high-tech electronics
industries. INDUSTRIAL Compressed fiber sheet
AGIS' industrial compressed fiber sheet #4401 is manufactured from synthetic fibers of high chemical stability and heat resistance, uniformly mixed with a nitrile rubber binder, and compressed into sheet forms. It is a field proven general purpose solution for many industries, including chemical processing, petrochemical, refinery, power generation and pulp and paper plants. Advantages: Good chemical stability, sealability, heat and aging resistance. Offers excellent resistance to various oils, water, gasoline, mild chemicals, hydrocarbons, refrigerants, steam and other inert gasses. .Can be used in steam, water, petroleum and mild chemical services. Exhibits superior creep resistance at high temperatures Properties and characteristics: Temperature limit: 750°F; 1450 psi, 300 psi saturated steam pressure; tensile strength of 2200 psi.. leachable chloride content @ 100 ppm/ density @ 1.70 g/cc.; color: green Sizes: Thickness: 1/64" to 1/4" Sheet size 60" x 60", 60" x 90", 60" x 120" and 60" x 180" Sold in full sheets only. Applications: AGIS' industrial compressed fiber sheet is used widely for gaskets, pipe flanges, sheet metal duct work and boiler flanges. Note: Not recommended for applications involving sulphur dioxide, sulfuric acid, pyridine and phenol. |
